Longer tours with sleddogs
Experience the mountains in the province of Jämtland in a different way. Do a longer tour with sleddogs for several days in the wilderness. We go through quiet and unspoild countryside and you are able to see reindeer, lynx, arctic fox and wolverine. You might see northern light too.
We teach you to drive your own sleddogs of 4-5 Alaskan Huskies. The tours go through the forest and up on the mountains. We go between 15 to 40 kilometers per day. We start the tours in Vålådalen and go up on the mountains and spend the nights in cabins or tents.
Driving with sleddogs can be hard work sometimes, so you need to be a little bit fit. You stand on the back of a sled, without skiis and get pulled by the dogs. You help the dogs uphill by pushing the sled, in the curves you lean inwards to not flip over and brake when it is necessary.
How to get here:: Take the train to Undersåker station (80 km from Östersund) and then then bus or taxi to Vålådalen (25 km). Fly to Östersund/Frösö airport, then train, bus or taxi to Vålådalen (10 km).

Experience a different and exiting fishingtour. We use sleddogs to go out in the wilderness to nice lakes in the mountains. Usually we do these tours in springtime in april or may, when the days are longer and the sun is warm.
This is a wonderful experience. We spend the days laying down on reindeer skins on the ice, and do fishing. In the evening we go inside the hut and cook the fish over open fire.

Day trips with sleddogs
Follow us on an adventure for a day. You don't need any skills and you can bring your whole family, even the kids.
We can arrange with lunch and coffe in our wodden hut.

Hike with a dog that carries your equipment.
Our summer events are very popular for families with kids. It is a nice experience to hike through the wilderness with a dog on your side. We stop halfway and make a fire, grill sausages, drink coffee and lemonade.

Call us if you want to vistit our kennel in Undersåker. You get to meet our Alaskan Huskies and their puppies.

Sleddog tour with "wheelsled"
Go with sleddogs in summertime. We do short tours when you sit on a sled with wheels mounted on the sleds. You have to be at least three persons. Price: Adults 300 SEK. Kids 150 SEK
Day tour with our Alaskan Huskies
The tour goes through the wilderness in forests and mountains. We stop halfway and make a fire, grill sausages, drink coffee and lemonade. Our dogs carry your equipment and help us up over the stepest hills. The kids may go with yunger dogs or puppies.
You have to be at least three persons.
Prices:
One day (5-6 hours) Adults 500 SEK. Kids 250 SEK
Half day (2-3 hours) Adults 300 SEK. Kids 150 SEK
Day tour with our Alaskan Huskies with one overnight in a cabbin
The tour goes through the wilderness in forests and mountains. We spend the night in a cabbin around Vålådalen or Sylarna. Our dogs carries most of your equipment. Every one get to hike with a dog and take care of it. We cook our own dinner in the cabin. The dogs sleep outside.
You have to be at least three persons.
Price including food and lodging in cabbing:
Adults 1200 SEK. Kids 800 SEK
Fishing tour with Alaskan Huskies
We do a tour to lakes in the mountains where we go fishing. Our dogs carries your equipment.
You bring your own food and we make some coffee on open fire.

The trip takes 5-6 hours and fishingcard is included.
